10 Beauty Hacks you NEED to try right now!

Makeup is fun. Spending hours getting all dolled up is something I truly enjoy. However, I don’t always have that much time and I’m always looking for quick beauty hacks to make my life a little easier. So, here are the best 9 hacks I always keep on hand, you know, in case of an emergency.

beauty hacks

Beauty hack #1

Need to get rid of a pimple in a synch? Take a liquid Advil and a needle and poke a hole in it. Dab the liquid directly onto the pimple and leave on overnight. By morning your pimple should have diminished quite a bit!

Beauty hack #2

Large visible pores getting you down? Before applying your makeup, take an ice cube and rub it all over your face. Yes, its cold, yes it sucks but it works wonders for not only closing your pores but also reducing any redness you might have!

Beauty hack #3

Clumpy mascara? Been there, done that. And extremely tired of it! If your mascara is on it’s last leg of life, run the rube under some warm, running water for about 30 seconds and it will apply like a dream!

Beauty hack #4

Nail polish often acts the same as mascara, when it’s going out, it gets clumpy and hard to apply. If you’re not ready to give up your favorite color and still want to get a few coats out of it, stick the bottle in the fridge 15 minutes before applying and it will go on a lot smoother!

Beauty hack #5

Want to make your perfume last all day? Spray one pump of your favorite scent onto your hairbrush and run it through your hair a few times. You’ll be smelling lovely all day!

Beauty hack #6

Out of eye shadow base? Do not panic! Simply use concealer! Apply a little onto your eyelids and blend in before applying your eye shadow! Boom, your color is locked in place all day!

Beauty hack #7

Mess up on your eyeliner? Sigh, no one has time for that! Literally no one! There are two ways you can deal with this: (and no, it’s not cry. Although you feel like it) first, take a q-tip and dab it into your eye makeup remover and simply wipe away the error!

Beauty hack #8

Or, take an angled brush and use some concealer to paint over the mistake! Seriously, works like a charm!

Beauty hack #9

If you need to shave your legs but have no time to shower, use baby oil! Rub it all over your legs and get to shaving! Plus it’s like a moisturizer as well! But one thing is for sure, never shave dry. I’ts a terrible idea. No matter what.

Beauty hack #10

This is by far my most used “hack”. If you could even call it that, it’s more like advice. When applying your makeup, save your foundation until the end. Do your eye shadow, eyeliner and mascara first thing. Then when you’re done with your eye makeup, apply your foundation, that way if there’s any fall out you don’t risk messing up your foundation!

And there you have it! My best beauty hacks! Please do me a huge favor and share this post!

I love using a flat concealer brush to clean up liner! I use it with remover first to neaten up, then use concealer to make sure it’s extra sharp.

I also always do my eyes first and it surprises me how many people don’t!

Great post, I loved these hacks

I knew some of these hacks, but the one about sticking your nail polish in the fridge is genius! I favor O.P.I and Essie, and while they do have lovely products, the bottles are also too big to not get thick and clumpy by the time I finish them. I’ll give your hack a try- oh, and I Pinned your post 🙂
