Greetings, friend!
About A little Rose Dust – the blog
I’m Caity, a Canadian based human, cat mom, wife and blogger. I thrive on slow mornings, oat milk lattes, and the thrill of the thrift.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved all things nature-related. Animals, landscapes and all the gorgeous colours earth has to offer. As I grew older I began to learn about the impact I had on the planet from the foods I ate, the things I bought to the waste I created. This spiralled into what I like to call environmental activism. I started this blog to document my journey to a more sustainable life and provide resources for those looking to do the same.
Here you’ll find everything you need to know about ethical fashion, sustainability and making an impact on the planet.

About A little Rose Dust – the girl behind the blog
I was raised in the prairies of Manitoba, Canada and while I don’t enjoy the never-ending winters, I’m grateful to get to experience the best of every season in full. Maybe that’s why I grew to appreciate earth so deeply. I grew up Christian and have always loved the Lord but it wasn’t until I was living on my own that I fell in love with God and gained a personal, close relationship with Jesus. At the end of the day, wanting to take care of the earth he provided us with, is my main motivation for sustainable living.
I met my now-husband Dryden in high school and after 7 years of dating w got married in the summer of 2021. To say he is my best friend is an understatement. We still live in blister Manitoba with our two cats but have a dream of travelling and settling down somewhere hopefully a little sunnier but equally as Canadian.
Some of my hobbies include writing music, watercolour painting, making fancy coffees at home and learning how to knit one day. I hope you’ll stick around, explore a little bit and join this little community. It’s so good to have you here.
