Education is the first step to activism. It’s hard to fight for something you don’t know a lot about. I’m a huge fan of reading when it comes to educating myself. When I first started my sustainable living lifestyle, I read any book I could get my hands on on the subject. it helped a lot to fuel the fire. I hope this list of books on sustainability can do the same for you!

This book challenges the current “cradle to grave” manufacturing process. Truth, courage and solutions for the climate crisis. This book highlights dozens of diverse women leading on climate from lawyers, farmers, scientists, journalists, activists and more. By the end of this book, you will be filled with hope about the ongoing climate crisis.
11. The Intersectional Environmentalist
Fellow activist Leah Thomas pens this powerful book highlighting marginalized voices in the environmental spaces. We cannot have climate justice without racial justice. This book is a perfect guide on how to be a more inclusive activist.
