I’m a bit of a skincare junkie. Or rather a clean skincare junkie. Actually, make that a clean and sustainable skincare junkie.
As someone around the sustainable skincare space, I’ve seen every sustainability content creator talk about Cocokind. And to be honest I always thought it was greenwashing. Something about the brand didn’t click until I did some in-depth research.

One of the biggest things that set Cocokind apart is that they measure their carbon footprint. Each product’s box has a breakdown of each aspect of its carbon emissions like the lid, the bottle and the product itself.
But they don’t just let you know the carbon breakdown but take actionable steps and create goals to reduce their emissions.
It also includes a breakdown of which parts of the product are recyclable and how to dispose of them after use.
On the other side of the box, you’ll find their formula facts. It breaks down the ingredients used, and how they feel on the skin (light, heavy).
Each ingredient used is heavily inspected to ensure ethical sourcing and they don’t use filler ingredients.
Cocokind is very open on its site about past mistakes they’ve been guilty of when it comes to false marketing and that they’re still not a perfect brand. That’s what I love about them. They’re totally transparent and can admit they still have a ways to go while striving to be the best they can be.
I’ve built a simple skincare routine using a majority of Cocokind’s products and am already a fan. Their formulas aren’t too heavy for my skin and as someone with dry, sensitive skin I’ve found all the products I’ve tried to work really well and not irritate my skin. This is really exciting because it’s always a gamble when you have sensitive skin.
I’m really impressed by all aspects of Cocokind’s skincare. Their products are great, their formulas feel great even on sensitive skin and their sustainability efforts are real trailblazers.
Honestly, Cocokind’s efforts should be the roadmap for all brands from now on.
