As summer draws closer and closer to a close, I’m reflecting on the outfits I’ve been wearing over and over and how I’ve been styling them. So if you’re looking for a little ethical outfit inspiration, look no further.
You all know that I’m so passionate about ethical fashion and consuming fashion at a slow, responsible rate. I love sharing my favourite brands and where you can shop ethically no matter your budget. But I don’t often do a round-up post on how to style them and I wanted to start putting ethical fashion into practical style.

1. Casual and on repeat
This outfit has literally been my go-to all summer. I find it so effortless and super comfy! I’m pairing my favourite Mate the Label biker shorts in black with this white button-up (similar). It’s so light and perfect for summer!

2. Cottagecore
While price is a huge hurdle for lots when it comes to ethical fashion, I try to really see my clothing as an investment. That doesn’t mean I’m just able to spend thousands on clothing that’s ethical, but it does mean I save up and when I purchase an item I love, I wear it loads. The item in question is this darling gingham dress from WVN that I’ve been wearing all summer, usually with a hat like the Zephyr Rancher hat in cream from Gigi Pip or just by itself. I also can’t wait to style it for fall and winter!

3. Retro and chic
For a more fun “retro” inspired look, I’ve been pairing this linen slip dress from LA Relaxed (save 20% with code: ALITTLEROSEDUST). And the perfect icing on the cake is some vintage cowgirl boots I got from my grandmother-in-law.
