When it comes to shopping in any capacity, I try to do it as mindfully and sustainably as possible. That being said, it’s really hard to find ethically and sustainably made seasonal decor.
My stance is that if we’re mindful when buying seasonal items (as in, not buying everything and not overconsuming and resuing for years to come) then I don’t see the problem with it. We can’t expect ourselves to be perfect and shop 100% ethically all the time, it’s just not attainable. Especially when it comes to seasonal or more niche things.
One of my favourite ways to shop for seasonal decor is through Etsy! While there is nothing wrong with heading to the mall for your fall decor, I love Etsy because it lets me support small businesses and artists while getting quality, slowly-produced items.

I love a good fall mug. This etched pumpkin one is so cute and can carry you all the way from September to December if you want!
