As the weather turns colder, I’m not quite ready to let go of my favourite dresses for the season. And there’s no reason to pack them away! You can so easily style dresses for fall and winter with just a few simple layers.
Here’s how I’m styling my favourite dresses for fall and winter!
How to style dresses for fall and winter:

1. Wearing a sweater (specifically a turtleneck) under dresses has always been a staple for me in the fall and winter time. It works for all kinds of dresses and all shapes and sizes of dresses. The looks can vary so much depending on the dress or the sweater. One of my favourite looks is this all-black look from LA Relaxed (Save 20% with code ROSEDUST) with a subtle pop of color in the boots!

2. Sweaters over dresses! Groundbreaking, I know. But I love that this simple style can turn any dress into essentially, a skirt! It’s an easy way to cover awkward sleeve length for the colder seasons.

3. A cardigan is the ideal solution for transitioning dresses to fall and winter. But I’ve found that finding the right shape/length is always a challenge. The shelter cardigan from Tradlands hits all the right boxes and suits every body type. It’s the perfect cardigan, truly!

I usually also had some tights under the dresses and some thick socks depending on how cold it is! But even here in some of the coldest parts of Canada, I manage to still style my favourite dresses for fall and winter!
