As someone who strives for as low waste of a lifestyle as possible, getting gifts is always a little iffy. I’m always grateful when someone goes out of their way to get me a gift, however, I’ve ended up with some plastic or single-use items in the past.
One of the most exciting things for me about getting married is finally being “in charge” of my household. Along with my partner, of course. But you know when you’re living at home or even living with roommates there’s a lot that you don’t get a say in.
But that is the beauty of your own place. Whether or not you’ve lived on your own before getting married, this list is sure to have something you need/want to live a more eco-friendly life. Plus making a wedding registry, in general, is so fun nevermind a low waste wedding registry!

Low waste wedding registry:
Kitchen:
Reusable foaming soap dispenser
Reusable salt and pepper grinder
Bathroom:
Miscellaneous:
Microfiber catching cora laundry ball
There are, of course, so many other items that could be added to a wedding registry such as pots/pans, dishware and more everyday essentials. However, most dishes and cookware are already sustainable because they’re reusable! The items on this list are mainly to help you acquire the things that are normally single-use like dryer sheets or Ziploc bags so you can start your married life off as sustainably as possible!
For a digital registry, I used myregistry.com. This site allows you to add items from any place on the web so they’re all in the same place. It’s super easy to use and my finace and I love it. I’m sure there are many other digital registry sites so feel free to search around the web for something you like!
As always, please don’t forget to share this post and follow me on Instagram for daily low waste living inspiration!
