There are so many ethical fashion brands out there and so many brands claiming to be ethical or sustainable when they’re not. It’s a lot of noise. And while I’m in no position to have tried a number of them, I have tried a few that I am obsessed with and have been a repeat customer. These brands are all ethical and sustainable with high standards fr how they treat their workers and the planet.
My 5 favorite ethical fashion brands:

1. La Relaxed
LA Relaxed is just as the name suggests, made in LA. One of the most important things to me when it comes to an ethical brand is knowing exactly where the clothes were made. And while there are ethical brands that can have multiple workshops in multiple locations, sometimes it’s just easier having it all in one place.
Their clothing is made with non-toxic dyes and no chemicals so you know it’s safe for you, the planet and the one who made the clothing. I have several pieces from them and I’m always impressed with the quality.
2. Wolven
Wolven is an athleisure, loungewear and swimwear brand. What makes them so unique is that they use recycled materials to make their clothing like recycled plastic bottles and a lot of their pieces are reversible! So you can get extra use out of them! The material is also designed to go longer between washes which will preserve them!
I have a few sets from them and they are by far the comfiest workout clothes I have ever owned!
3. Passion Lillie
Passion Lilie is changing the game when it comes to manufacturing in other countries. We usually think that if we see a tag that says “made in China” or “made in Bangladesh” that it means it was made unethically. And while this is true in a lot of cases, Passion Lilie is changing that stigma by working with 3rd world countries to employ artisans and actually pay them a fair wage.
Their clothing is so fun and you can see the love and passion that goes into every stitch!
4. Organic Basics
Organic Basics makes all the basics you could ever need. From underwear to leggings, t-shirts and socks! If you need it, they got it! And they do have the comfiest underwear ever!
Their clothing is designed to last with sustainable materials and partner with certified factories to ensure safe working conditions and fair pay.
5. ARQ
ARQ is a family-owned business that uses GOTS-certified organic cotton. Being a family-owned business they also only partner with family-run factories to make the items that ensure safe and fair working conditions. I can’t believe I actually used to wear bras with underwires before trying ARQ’sbras. I will never go back to any other kind of bra again!
