I always have a large tote on me. But I assure you absolutely nothing in that bag is useless. While the items in my zero waste bag don’t always get used every day, I’m always super thankful to have everything I need on hand when I do need to reduce waste.
Here’s what’s in my zero waste bag:

1. To-go cutlery
I don’t often need cutlery, but I am so glad to have it on hand when I do. This includes eating out, when I bring my own food or at a social event that only has disposables!
2. To-go bags
You know I love my Baggu bags. They fold up nice and small, pack away neatly and barely take up any extra space. This is perfect for in-between grocery runs when I just need a few things and don’t want a disposable bag.
3. Reusable napkins
These are great to have on hand for any spillage emergency or for eating out!
4. Reusable cup
I love my stojo because it collapses and gets nice and small to tuck away into my bag. It’s perfect for any drink on the go.
5. Stasher bag
Whether it’s for leftovers, berry foraging or to put your used reusable napkins in, I love keeping a spare stasher in my bag for emergencies!
6. Reusable straw
A true pioneer in any zero waste bag. I always like to keep 2 or 3 on me in case I’m out with friends but that’s just me! A reusable straw is a must! Even if I’m not getting drinks daily, it always comes in handy.
7. Mini deodorant
I love that you can get mini deodorants with your native order. That way I have the same scent in my bag that I applied at home in case it’s a rather long day!
8. Compostable lip balm
It doesn’t matter what season it is, I’m constantly applying lip balm. And I love compostable ones that won’t leave any trace once they’re gone!
